Founded in 2009 by Johanna and Mauricio Suarez, Reliable Restorations® emerged from Mauricio’s frustration with unreliable general contractors who took advantage of their workers and failed to deliver on their promises to customers. After being laid off during the economic recession, Mauricio and Johanna set out to create a company that stands out for its unwavering reliability and commitment to employees and clients.

Mauricio Suarez
Co-Founder and Director of Operations
Mauricio Suarez brings over 25 years of construction and restoration experience to his role as Co-Founder and Director of Operations. He leads job production, estimating, and quality control, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards. Mauricio’s dedication to operational excellence and attention to detail drives the company’s ongoing success.
As the NASCLA-certified qualifier for our general contractor’s license and a proud Tuck School of Business alumnus, Mauricio combines technical expertise with strong leadership.
Known for his friendly demeanor and sense of humor, he keeps the office atmosphere upbeat and enjoyable. Mauricio enjoys spending time with his family outside of work, cooking delicious meals, and relaxing at the beach with a cold beer.
Johanna Suarez
Co-Founder & CEO
As Co-Founder and CEO, Johanna Suarez oversees the overall strategy of Reliable Restorations, making key decisions and representing the firm to clients, investors, and other stakeholders. With a strong background in entrepreneurship and strategic leadership, Johanna has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and solidifying its reputation as a leader in commercial property restoration. Her ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and her commitment to excellence have established Reliable Restorations as a trusted name in the industry.
Outside work, Johanna enjoys traveling, dancing, swimming, and spending quality time with her family around the kitchen table.
